Randy Hoover’s career is built on over 25 years of commitment to financial services and employee benefits planning.

Randy received his B.A. in General Business from Michigan State University in 1988.

Randy has also received the NAHU (National Health Underwriters Association) Leading Producers Roundtable award for the past ten years. In June 2010, he received the Leading Producers Qualifying Award from the NAHU. He is also a past recipient of the Million Dollar Round Table Award (based on sales), the National Quality Award, and many other industry and company awards. Randy currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Health Underwriters Association.

As the principal for Hoover and Associates, Randy is a fully independent investment advisor and employee benefits provider. Today, Randy represents over 100 insurance companies and financial institutions. This allows Hoover and Associates to focus on determining the customer’s needs and objectives, and providing unbiased advice and innovative solutions to make them a reality.

Randy’s continuing commitment to his education enables him to better serve his clients and offer innovative solutions and relevant ideas.

Randy Hoover is unique in earning all four of the following designations from The American College:

RJ Hoover – Registered Representative, AIF 

RJ Hoover, as a Financial Professional with Hoover and Associates, is dedicated to helping each of his clients to build secure financial futures. He utilizes a process of education, consultation and customized strategies for each client. He is passionate about giving his clients the information and confidence they need to help them strive toward their financial goals.

He has obtained his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation, Series 66, FINRA Series 7 license, as well as Life, Accident and Health licenses in Ohio and Michigan. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from John Carroll University and currently resides in Birmingham, Michigan. His hobbies include fishing, kayaking and is a college and professional football fan.

 

 

Patricia McAtamney Operations Manager 

 

Pat has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.  Her primary responsibility is to coordinate quality service and supporting processes to result in excellent customer service for the clients of Hoover & Associates. Pat is a graduate of Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing.

 

 

Sarah Pruner – Group Health Renewal Team

 

Sarah has over 15 years experience in customer service and has a strong background in the health industry that has equipped her with excellent administrative and project management skills.  Her primary focus is coordinating the many processes required for our clients’ annual renewals.  Sarah is a graduate of the University of Michigan majoring in Communications.

 

Carma Kay – Group Health Service Team

Carma has over 30 years experience in administration and customer service.  Carma uses excellent customer service she established while working in the Farmington School district to assist those in need. Carma works tirelessly to resolve client issues with the health benefits, including billing and enrollment issues.

 

 

 

 

Elizabeth Fields – Medicare Supplement Team 

 

Beth has over 20 years experience in administration and customer service.  Beth primarily assists Randy in our Medicare Supplement department, working closely with individuals making the transition to Medicare Supplement plans.

 

 

 

Kelly Rowe – Individual Wealth Management Team 

 

Kelly has over 30 years experience of supporting clients in the financial services and insurance industry.  Her primary responsibility is assisting Randy with his individual wealth customers, working directly with clients in preparation of annual reviews and the ongoing service of their investment accounts.

 

 

 

Cyndi Collins – 401(k) Administrative Service Team 

 

Cyndi has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry.  She provides a background that has well prepared her to assist our 401(k) clients. Cyndi works with each 401(k) client to assure that the Plan Sponsor has year round support for plan activity, employee 401(k) education, and any service related issues.
